Data centres have never been more critical to your business.
The role of the data centre has evolved from simple servers to enabling hybrid cloud infrastructure. Organisations are challenged with creating cost efficiencies, optimising operational performance and maintaining availability of critical infrastructure.
Infront has been designing, building, and supporting enterprise scale data centres for Federal Government and commercial businesses for over 20 years. It’s what we’ve always done, and we’re still the best.
There is no aspect of your data centre environment that we cannot assist with. From developing modernisation strategies and designs, through to cloud readiness and integration to enable migration and hybrid cloud delivery.
Infront focuses on the unification of on-premises and cloud deployments to bring your organisation a seamless hybrid cloud experience without compromise. Hybrid cloud gives your organisation the best of both worlds using a mixture of internal and external cloud services to maximise efficiency and optimise the cloud.
Some of the benefits of hybrid cloud include:
- Rapid provisioning with minimal management effort
- Simple and fast to install
- Decreases IT expenditure
- Allows IT professionals to focus on business objectives
Hyper-converged Infrastructure (HCI) solutions have been designed to unify the hardware components of the IT stack – compute, storage and networking – combined with the software stack. HCI promised simplicity, cost savings and ease of deployment. However, not all HCI is created equal.
With so many HCI solution in the market and new features being announced weekly, it can be hard to understand which solution best suits your business.
As one of the first service providers to deploy HCI in Canberra, we understand the strengths and weakness of this innovative platform. Choose the right solution, and you will quickly reap the benefits of this ground breaking technology. Pick the wrong solution, and you could be stuck with an expensive platform that locks you into a hypervisor, and may only deliver performance and capacity headaches.
With over 20 years of enterprise storage experience and our real-world data centre knowledge, you can rely on Infront to decipher the true value of HCI for your organisation.
Data is one of your organisations most valuable assets. Protecting and backing up data ensures security, integrity and availability. If something goes wrong, you must minimise the loss of data, and ensure that business critical data is constantly available with minimum downtime. Backing up your data is the only way to ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster.
Protecting your critical business services and information has been core to Infront’s expertise for over 20 years. We understand backup like nobody else in Canberra.
When put to the test, too many solutions simply do not perform. Promised performance and data reductions never materialise. With Infront we will match the right software and hardware to suit your business requirements, helping you see through the vendor hype.
Whether you have an existing solution or are simply looking to replace, whether you are on premises or running in the cloud, we can help you protect your critical services. Our solutions have been designed to meet Essential 8 compliance and can be provided as a pure Software as a Service (SaaS) backup, or a hybrid cloud solution.
Disaster Recovery (DR) planning is a vital activity organisations need to undertake regardless of whether their cloud environment is located on-premises or in the cloud. Planning for business continuity after a disaster is complex, as it is impossible to predict the extent of the disaster.
Whether you are looking to protect critical workloads across data centres or utilise cloud to remove the cost of an expensive secondary site, Infront can help.
Infront has successfully delivered dual data centre and cloud-based disaster recovery solutions. We assist in the development of your disaster recovery processes, procedures and business continuity planning.
Infront’s Disaster Recovery solutions ensure your organisation will be prepared for any disaster that may affect your operations, with an up-to-date replica of your company’s critical data.
In an information-centric world, managing data efficiently and with confidence is more critical than ever.
Despite the advent of cloud, on premises enterprise storage remains the foundation for many business operations.
Choosing the right enterprise storage solution for your business is critical to the success of your IT projects and data driven initiatives. Infront can do more than just help you understand and implement the very latest enterprise storage offerings.
As data management specialists, we truly understand where data is going. We will work with you to identify solutions that align with your vision and demands for information management; be they on premises, in the cloud, or both. Best of all, we can design, implement and support it for you.
Understanding how critical business services is performing is vital, yet in cloud and hybrid cloud environments this can be incredibly difficult. Without this understanding, your teams can struggle to identify problems, impacting services, delaying resolution and risking reputation.
Increasingly, observability solutions are seen as the answer. Observability goes beyond traditional monitoring. It examines every aspects of your application and the systems and services that supports it, then uses technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning to accelerate diagnosis, reducing resolution time and can even take automated actions to resolve issues.
Infront has partnered with one of the worlds leading observability solutions to deliver our clients the insights needed to keep critical business services running regardless of where they are deployed.
Infront and MinterEllison
MinterEllison is one of the Asia Pacific’s leading law firms operating in Australia, Hong Kong, mainland China, Mongolia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Their IT infrastructure is key to supporting their strategic intent to continuously evolve their business through innovation, whilst being customer focused driving specific outcomes. A solution was needed to design the IT environment to meet the business’ needs with a strategic approach for future scalability as well as to provide business agility.
Infront provided an in principle architecture on how MinterEllison should design its new platforms working toward a hybrid environment, tiering archive data to cloud, and therefore right size/reducing the on premise component of their data centre. In addition to this, Infront now also handles day to day management of their backup platforms augmenting Minters’ IT Team.
This partnership allows the MinterEllison IT team to focus on high business value projects and work towards their desire to move as many workloads to cloud as possible. Currently we are undergoing an in-depth workload assessment to provide MinterEllison with suitable candidates for public cloud.
MinterEllison's relationship with Infront has evolved over many years. The success to that relationship is as a result of Infront taking the time to discover and propose infrastructure solutions that deliver the required business outcomes. The recent implementation of Data Protection as a service was commercially competitive, flexible in the delivery and allowed us to take advantage of all the benefits of cloud.
